Undead Horror

Transcript

Heroine, holding up her axe, screams at attacking lich.

Lich limbs litter the ground, but the head cackles at her.

Lich head: Mwahaha! Did you not know I am DEATHLESS?

Heroine reels back in horror as the limbs come after her!

Lich head: Even torn apart I shall come for you!

They are still slowly trying to crawl toward her as she looks at her phone. 

Lich head: …Just as soon as my hands crawl their way… just a little farther…

Heroine: So how long is this going to take? I have an appointment in twenty minutes.

   LOL…

   I guess the heroine could go to her appointment and come back later, she’d still be in time for the lich to reach her. No need to stand around the whole time…

   Who schedules an appointment for 12:20AM? Oh…

   Story Idea: Lone demon slayer supports herself by dealing during the brief interludes of her nocturnal ghoul encounters. Can she defeat the demons in time before her impatient clients ditch so she can pay the bills before collapsing onto her bed at dawn?

   The trick is to destroy the head (or for a lich, the item he’s keeping his soul contained in).

     Don’t lichs traditionally remove their heart and keep it in a safe place so they can’t be destroyed?
